- How is the data obtained?
SSDS obtains data from various sources:
- Hundreds of participating owners, who submit their actual operating data annually.
- Data compiled by Charles R. Wilson & Associates, Inc. through the course of conducting 300-400 appraisals annually.
- Surveys, public records, and other primary information sources.
- How do you become a Participant?
- Must be an owner or operator of one or more self-storage facilities.
- Fill out a Participant Data Form and sign a Confidentiality Agreement. For instructions go to the

- Provide SSDS with your actual operating data on each facility.
- Is there a fee to become a Participant?
No, participation is Free.
- Why be a Participant?
